In 1986 I enrolled for a marketing course and in 1991 for an Organisational Development course at the Tshwane University of Technology. My career as an Organisational Development Consultant started with my appointment as a Workstudy Officer in the Department of Home Affairs. I soon became aware of the complexities and impact of human behavior when creating structures within an organisation. With this as a departure point, I started my relationship with “the power of your mind”.
In November 1997 I was appointed as the Assistant Deputy Director in the Department of Health in the Organisational Development department. In 1999 I left the department to further my interest in human behavior with a High and Low Ropes Course. A ropes course is a challenging outdoor personal development and team building activity which usually consists of high and/or low elements. Low elements take place on the ground or above the ground. High elements are usually constructed in trees or made of utility poles and require a belay for safety. The High Ropes Course emphasizes risk-taking, trust, and coaching. The challenges enable participants to expand their comfort zones—sometimes dramatically—and recognize fears that may block personal achievement. Each moment is rich with discoveries, whether a person is climbing, encouraging a teammate or “on belay.” Low ropes courses consist of a series of real and imaginary obstacles designed to challenge groups and individuals to work together to accomplish a task.
In May 2001 I partnered with a Play Therapist and together we joined our first training sessions at Edutainment in the field of brain based learning disciplines. There after we join Neuro-links Association program under Licence NL12 and became certified Learning Specialists. In the years following my expertise ranged from the facilitation of learning empowerment sessions; children and adult brain dominance profile assessments; rope course facilitator for psychologist team building sessions, parent group facilitation sessions, human resource empowerment workshops, using brain based principles to foster mental wellness and increase performance.

Since 2002 I mainly worked as an Organisational Development Consultant on various projects in the Public and Private Sectors. In 2004 I officially started to focus more on integrating organisational design with my marketing, first at Blu Ant Marketing and in 2011 when Corporate Axtion was established.
My marketing & organisational design efforts are brain-based and results focused. I find that too many businesses don’t have an integrated business approach when it comes to management, organisation design and marketing. Marketing can’t be done without addressing an organisations design and key performance areas.
